Located 7 km away from Thrissur town, Vilangan Hills is a destination for all ages with its scenic beauty and incredible amusement rides which were popular even before new renovations including a 16D theatre. The herbal plants initiative called Asokavanam is maintained along the trails in collaboration with the State Medicinal Plants Board, The Vilangan Trekkers' Club, and the Asokavana Samiti. The four viewpoints and Selfie Corner are fun apart from Kole fields with the walking trail connecting each of them.

The hill has plenty of rides for the little ones, some of them free too except for a nominal fee at the entrance. The new rides can cost slightly more but are enjoyable nevertheless. Vilangan Hills remains a favourite among people of all ages for its trekking trails and rides. Set in the lap of nature, what’s to complain about? It is just the place for some rejuvenation.
