Kudakkallu is a slice of Kerala's rich heritage and is primarily found on the outskirts of Thrissur. The Ariyannur Kudakkallu is one such prominent megalithic burial site, situated at Ariyannur in the Kandanassery panchayat of Thrissur district. The site is a part of the Kudakkallu Parambu of Cheramanangad and is home to six umbrella stones of which, two are partially dilapidated. The Archaeological Survey of India declared the Ariyannur Kudakkallu as a centrally protected monument in the year 1951.
